Let’s Build a House for Paula & Travis in McCreary County!

Kentucky Baptist Fellowship, in partnership with McCreary County Community Housing Development (McCHDO) and Kentucky Highlands Community Development Corporation (KHCDC), will build its fourth house. Approximatley 150 volunteers will gather June 3-13 in Whitley City of McCreary County to build a house from the ground up. We hope you will join us as we “Build Up Hope” for Paula and McCreary County.

EXTREME BUILD SCHEDULE

Wednesday-Friday, June 3-5: Pre-Build
On site preparation for Extreme Build. Floor trusses, load in CORE, build walls.

Friday, June 5, Kick-Off Celebration & Picnic, Sand Hill Camp
6:00 pm Registration
6:30 pm Cook-out/Kentucky Wind Concert
7:00 pm Extreme Build Rally

Saturday, June 6, Raise the Roof
Full work day on site to raise walls and roof.

Sunday, June 7, Worship and Community Celebration
Attend worship services at local churches.
Afternoon “Meet and Greet” with community on Main Street.

Monday-Friday, June 8-12, Extreme Build, Sharon Home Site
On site work will begin at 7:00 am until approximately 6:00 pm each day.
Lunch on site, breakfast and dinner at First Baptist Church of Whitley City.

Saturday, June 13, House Dedication, Sharon Home Site
12:00 pm Celebration Picnic
1:00 pm House Dedication Ceremony

DAILY SCHEDULE

6AM - Breakfast at First Baptist Church Whitley City
6:45AM - Shuttles depart for build site, Crew Leader Meeting on Build Site
7AM - Devotional & Morning Prayer on Build Sit, 1st Shift Begins Work
Noon - Lunch on Build Site, 2nd Shift Begins Work
6:30PM - Dinner at FBC Whitley City
8PM - Build Site Closed
